Items
All items offered for sale here are housed in private premises owned by A. Takeda. All items are in good condition unless otherwise stated. Measurements and sizes of items are approximate. If you click a thumbnail image, an image file turns up with larger images and descriptive information on each item. Much larger digital images and further details will be available upon request. Please contact us when your computer browser does not accept this function. Our on-line gallery is updated on a regular basis.

Copyright in all images and written material used in this website gallery belongs to A. Takeda and no part of these written and visual materials may be reproduced without the seller's prior consent.

If you are making an enquiry on any of the pieces in this website gallery, please quote the reference number(s) shown in the descriptive information on each piece. Privacy policies
We respect your privacy. Any information that clients have provided us on this website will be kept in complete confidence and never be forwarded any personal information to any other organisations or individuals for any purpose whatsoever. We do not store any personal information on our website.
   
Orders
A pro-forma invoice will be e-mailed upon order. Merchandise that has been ordered will be set aside for a week.
   
Payment
A pro-forma invoice will be e-mailed upon order. International bank-to-bank wire transfer (BIC/SWIFT) and I.P.M.O in US dollar are accepted as methods of remittance. Bank commissions may be charged and commission rates vary from bank to bank and country to country. Prices and insured shipping charges in a pro-forma invoice will be converted from JPY to an acceptable foreign currency with the latest exchange rate (please use the currency converter provided). PayPal (preferably PayPal eChecks) is also acceptable providing that remittance is on a Japanese yen basis and payers strictly comply with the User Agreement For PayPal Service.
   
Shipping
Free insured EMS shipping will be provided if remittance is made via a bank-to-bank wire transfer on a JPY basis. Unless otherwise insured international shipping will be charged at cost. All goods will be insured for all risks and despatched worldwide in two business days by an express mail with tracking from Japan on receipt of cleared funds. All purchased items paid via PayPal will be despatched to the payer's confirmed address.
   
Export permits
All items housed in our private premises are subject to laws governing exports from Japan. An export permit must have it granted at the Tokyo Customs Office for a shipment valued over 200,000 JPY. A further certificate may also need to have it issued by the Agency for Cultural Affairs (Bunkach) in applying for an export permit. All necessary permits and certificates will be obtained by us for clients.
